At Grace It Up Prison Ministry, our mission is to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with men and women in jails and prisons. We believe in the power of feeding both the body and the soul. We nourish the body with good food and feed the soul with the Bible and powerful testimonies from those who have been formerly incarcerated. We know that the life and blood sacrificed by Jesus is enough to cover all our sins, no matter what we've done in the past!
We are inspired by the example of Jesus, who understood the profound bond that is created when people break bread together. As documented in the book of Luke, Jesus shared meals with others ten times, including two after His resurrection. He showed us that sharing a meal can forge a connection with anyone, regardless of their past.
Our purpose is simple: to be instruments of God, spreading the Good News to both the incarcerated and the formerly incarcerated. We share the message of hope and salvation that is available to all who believe in Jesus Christ as their eternal savior.

Over the past 3 years, over 230 volunteers have come together and have served over 7,500 meals and over 18,000 Grace Bags to individuals in our local incarcerated community. Many of our volunteers have spent time behind bars. But with their life changed, they want to give back. We just to remind those that are often forgotten that we are thinking ab out them, praying for them, that God loves them and so do we!

We work with and support a variety of programs and services to those who are currently incarcerated as well as those transitioning from behind bars to the outside world. Whether its through serving hot fresh meals, speaking to youth & groups, collecting toiletries, assisting those who have recently been released, or just listening, we want to be the hands & feet of Jesus Christ. This year IN 2026, GIU is expected to serve over 3,000 residents at local correctional facilities! What a BLESSING to be a part of!!!
We would love to have you join us!
