Hope in Action

The 5 & 2 Project is the vital fundraising plan dedicated to fueling the transformative work of Grace It Up Prison Ministry (GraceItUp.org). Our name and mission are rooted in the powerful Gospel miracle where Jesus demonstrated the limitless power of God through scarcity. When faced with a crowd of over five thousand hungry people, the disciples' entire provision was shockingly small:

"How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” When they found out they said, “Five, and two fish.” — Mark 6:38 (NIV)

We stand on this same principle: that when we dedicate what seems like very little—whether it’s time, product, or money—the Blood of Christ sanctifies that offering, allowing God to multiply it to accomplish SO MUCH MORE than we could imagine. A single dollar, placed in His hands, is capable of infinite impact in the Kingdom.

We have launched a focused campaign to raise $75,000 to fund our ministry outreach throughout 2026. This target is designed to allow GIU to hold services that will feed the body and soul to 5,000 incarcerated residents in Carolina correctional facilities!

Your $ Impact:

• Every $15.02 raised provides a Grace Bag (essential toiletries) and a hot, nourishing meal for one resident.
• The continued power of the $5.02 monthly gift is what will help us reach this $75,000 goal and ensure the multiplying work of Grace It Up continues throughout the year.

The $5.02 Commitment

The numbers 5 and 2 are not just a name; they are a direct invitation to partner with us through sacrificial giving. We ask you to make a recurring monthly gift of $5.02 or more. This simple act of committing to a small, consistent offering is the modern equivalent of bringing the five loaves and two fish.

• The $5.02 recurring donation is a tangible act of faith that matches the biblical example.
• By giving just $5.02 (or $15.02, $25.02, etc.) every month, you are committing your "very little" to God's purpose, knowing that the Blood of Christ will multiply its effectiveness exponentially inside the walls.

Every contribution made to The 5 & 2 Project directly funds Grace It Up’s essential services inside correctional facilities. Our one-day services are designed to restore dignity, demonstrate God's provision, and provide critical support:

1. Physical Nourishment: We share hot meals with all participants, fostering moments of genuine fellowship and demonstrating tangible love through provision.
2. Essential Aid: Funds allow us to distribute thousands of 'Grace Bags'—filled with essential toiletries and comfort items—to those often lacking basic necessities.
3. Spiritual Transformation: Our ministry shares a message of profound peace and forgiveness, centered on faith in Jesus Christ, who died and rose again to offer eternal hope.

A defining component of our services is the powerful presence of formerly incarcerated individuals who return to share their personal testimonies. Having successfully transitioned from incarceration to a renewed life, their stories are the most authentic and compelling evidence that change is possible. Their lived experience offers a blueprint for a future filled with hope, transforming the atmosphere from despair to purpose.

We invite you to partner with The 5 & 2 Project to sustain and expand Grace It Up’s reach. There are many ways to be involved in this miracle of multiplication:

• Financial Gifts & Product Donations: Provide the loaves and fish that fuel our operations.
• Time & Service: Offer your time to assemble Grace Bags or assist with logistics.
• Ministry Partnership: Go with us inside the walls to share the love and hope only Jesus Christ offers, becoming a living testimony of grace.

Your involvement multiplies our ability to deliver hope, one hot meal and one powerful testimony at a time.
